Please read this before you trade with TradePilot EA.

Trading leveraged products carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of your capital, and losses can exceed your deposit.

Leverage works both ways

Forex, gold (XAUUSD), indices and CFDs are traded on margin. A small price move against you can cause a large loss compared with your deposit, and your broker can close positions automatically when margin runs out (a stop-out).

Automated trading has its own risks

An Expert Advisor follows its rules without judgement. It can keep trading through conditions it wasn't designed for, and it depends on things outside our control:

  • Your terminal and connection. If MetaTrader 5, your computer or VPS, or your internet goes down, the EA can't open, manage or close trades. A VPS reduces this risk but doesn't remove it.
  • Your broker. Spreads, commissions, swaps, slippage, requotes, execution speed and trading rules differ between brokers and can change without notice, including around news and market opens.
  • Your settings. Lot size, risk per trade and drawdown limits are your choice. Higher risk settings mean bigger swings, both up and down.
  • Market gaps. Prices can jump past stop losses over weekends, at the open or on news, so a loss can be bigger than planned.

Past performance doesn't predict future results

Backtests, demo results, screenshots and other people's results are not a promise of what you'll get. Backtests in particular use past data and simplified conditions, and live results are usually worse.

Prop firm and funded accounts

If you trade a prop firm challenge or funded account, you're responsible for following its rules (daily loss, maximum drawdown, news trading, EA use, copy trading). Breaking a rule can fail the account even when the EA's own risk controls didn't trigger.
